Ideally, your puppy should be at least 16 weeks or have had their second round of vaccinations.
Unleash Fido uses positive reinforcement techniques and approaches like mirror and balanced training. Our trainers are continuously studying new and effective ways to train dogs. We aim to ensure that the training experience is productive, enjoyable and safe for our canine clients.
Unleash Fido has been training dogs since 2012. Our company is led by Travis Pepperkorn, who was a handler in the American Kennel Club show ring and transitioned into French Ring Dog Sport, which is a protection and obedience competition. Travis studied Theory & Application of Canine Behavior at Triple Crown Dog Academy, and he serves as Unleash Fido’s head trainer.

Doggie boot camp lasts for three to five weeks.
Every dog learns at a different pace, and factors like your pet's health and how much time has elapsed between training sessions can impact the overall training duration. However, to give you an idea, many clients see improvements in their dogs’ behavior within three to five weeks.

Yes. Our policy is, Once a Client, Always a Client. Our trainers are happy to answer your questions and provide you with additional resources even after your dog has graduated from one of our programs. You can also sign your dog up for our mini-boot camp if their skills need refreshing.

Maureen and I researched breeds to determine the best for her needs and we choose the Leonberger for its many fine qualities. This is a large breed dog and we were aware that it doesn’t fully mature until it is two years old. We know that this was a challenge for you and you responded splendidly. At six to seven months old you were able to train him to pass the “canine good citizenship” certification, this in and of itself is an example of your outstanding talent and ability with our canine friends.
