Working with dogs is a passion of mine, I am so blessed to be able to have the best job in the world!

​Travis Pepperkorn was born in our nation's capitol, Washington D.C. and raised all over the world from Washington State to Japan. Growing up surrounded by all different kinds of animals (from farm animals, domesticated to exotic pets), dogs have always been a favorite. At a young age he was a handler in the AKC show ring but converted to competition sports such as French Ring and Schutzhund. After completing his study at Triple Crown Dog Academy for Theory & Application of Canine Behavior, he decided to start Unleash Fido. Besides his dedication to helping people and their four-legged family members with behavioral issues, he has a growing passion for working dogs. He currently owns and trains several Belgian Malinois for competitive sports. Travis has trained many dogs in different specialties and continues to increase his knowledge with every dog and owner he works with. Travis has been married to his beautiful wife Emily for the last 20 years, which he is so grateful for. She is probably one of the few women on earth to allow their husband to have so many dogs. Together they have four very energetic boys that also assist with training.
